Elliot Park is a historic neighborhood on the southern edge of downtown Minneapolis, bounded roughly by I-35W to the east, Chicago Avenue to the west, and the downtown core just a few blocks to the north. Hennepin Healthcare (formerly HCMC), one of the Twin Cities’ largest employers and the region’s Level I trauma center, is located within the neighborhood. The Minneapolis VA Medical Center and several community health clinics are also nearby, making Elliot Park a particularly strong location for residents who need regular access to healthcare.

Peavey Park, located in the heart of Elliot Park, offers green space, a playground, and a community gathering spot. The Elliot Park Neighborhood organization (EPNI) has been an active community partner for decades — in fact, several of Aeon’s historic properties in the neighborhood were renovated at EPNI’s request. The neighborhood has a strong tradition of community investment and is home to a diverse mix of longtime residents and newer arrivals.
