Eugene’s Story

When Eugene graduated from college in 2022, he was ready to begin his career in music education.

Originally from New Jersey, he had just completed his studies at St. Olaf College and stepped into his first year of teaching. Like many new graduates, that transition wasn’t easy. Starting a career while adjusting to a new environment can come with uncertainty, and Eugene knew he needed a place where he could settle in and find his footing.

At 25, he found that place at Aeon’s East Village.

East Village provided more than just a home—it offered a sense of stability during a pivotal moment in Eugene’s life. Having a reliable place to live gave him the space to focus on his work and begin building his future.

Equally important was the support he experienced from the East Village team. They helped connect him with resources he needed during his first year after college, creating a strong foundation as he navigated a new chapter.

What stood out most to Eugene was the transparency he experienced—clear communication and a consistent reflection of Aeon’s values. That sense of trust and openness shaped his experience and reinforced the stability he was looking for.

With that foundation in place, Eugene was able to focus on growing into his career and establishing himself in a new community.
