    Caroline Horton

    Caroline joined Aeon in 1998, where she oversees Aeon’s finance and accounting functions and for 15 years, was also responsible for asset management. In her role, Caroline has been instrumental in managing Aeon’s past and continued growth and building its financial position.

    Caroline is also an active leader in the nonprofit affordable housing industry. Since 2007, Caroline has been a member of the STRENGTH MATTERS CFO Working Group which has developed a series of white papers on external reporting best practices for the nonprofit affordable housing industry. She is on the board of directors of NeighborWorks Capital, a lender to the NeighborWorks network. Caroline also presents on a variety of conference panels, using her skills and knowledge wherever she can to improve not just the work of Aeon, but to all organizations in the industry. Caroline earned her BSBA in accounting from Boston University School of Management. She was recognized as one of the Top Women in Finance by Finance & Commerce, and in 2021 she received the CFO of the Year Award from Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

    Laura Russ

    Laura joined Aeon in February 2023 and currently oversees Housing Development, Property Operations and Asset Management as Chief Real Estate Officer. Laura has an extensive background in multifamily operations including asset management, property management and real estate development for private and nonprofit owners. She combines her detailed knowledge of field operations with systems thinking, technology application, and innovative implementation.

    Previously, Laura led Asset Management functions at Thies & Talle Management, a Minneapolis-based multifamily owner/operator. During her fifteen year tenure there, she served in Operations roles where she refocused policies and systems around a resident-centric approach. She also served in technology and systems roles while at WinnResidential.This is one of the nation’s largest housing managers, where she led the Business Process Group. Throughout her career, she has consulted with numerous housing providers through Viva Consulting. Laura cares deeply about serving residents and expanding housing opportunities. She has tremendous respect for housing management professionals, the overlooked heroes of the housing world. Laura has her B.A. from the University of Chicago and her Master’s Degree in Housing, Community and Economic Development from MIT. She is a Minnesota Multihousing Board member, licensed MN Broker, and frequent contributor to housing policy discussions.

    David Keinert

    David Keinert brings over 20 years of expertise in customer experience, operations management, learning and development, and marketing. He has a proven track record across diverse industries such as higher education, hospitality, and multi-family housing. David excels in strategic planning, team leadership, employee development, and business analytics to drive operational excellence and growth.

    David holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, where he also earned two graduate certificates: one in Business Analytics and one in Transformational Change & Organizational Development. He also has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Minnesota.

    In October 2023, David joined Aeon after nine years as Senior Director of Property Operations in market-rate housing. As Executive Vice President, he oversees operations and focuses on fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and operational excellence. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Multi Housing Association, as well as on the Property Operations Committee of the National Multifamily Housing Council. David is dedicated to empowering team members to grow, collaborate, and contribute to Aeon’s mission of creating and sustaining quality affordable homes that strengthen lives and communities.

    At Aeon, our Property Management Team is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our communities, ensuring residents have a stable place to call home. From maintaining buildings to assisting residents with their housing needs, our team works to keep our properties running smoothly.

    While some of our communities need investment, we are committed to ongoing improvements and responsive management to better serve residents.

    Autumn DeLong-Rodgers

    Autumn DeLong-Rodgers (she/her) has been at Aeon for nearly five years, serving in multiple roles during that time. She is currently the Assistant Director of Advancement and works to align all Aeon’s fundraising responsibilities with the organization’s mission. As part of this role, she leads Aeon’s advocacy and leadership programming in partnership with residents who have experienced homelessness and/or housing instability. These resident leaders play a key role in bringing the heart of Aeon’s work to the outside world. Autumn is a graduate of Union Theological Seminary in New York City (MA ’22) and Macalester College in St. Paul (BA ’20).

    In her free time, you’ll find Autumn singing, reading, or walking outside with her rescue pup, Sparky, and her husband, Dominic.

    Becca Stabler

    Becca Stabler

    Becca Stabler (she/her) was hired as Aeon’s Grants Manager in August 2022. She is responsible for planning and implementing strategies for Aeon’s grant activity. This includes working collaboratively with Aeon employees and stakeholders to draft compelling public and private proposals. Becca is a graduate of the University of New England (MSW ’13), George Mason University (BA ‘06), and has an evaluation certificate from the University of Minnesota.

    In her free time, you’ll find Becca reading, researching new restaurants, or watching murder mysteries with her family.

    Megan Orbach

    Megan Orbach

    Megan joined the team in February 2024 as the Corporate Giving Officer. In her role, she cultivates and secures corporate sponsorships for a variety of funds, programs, and events that help advance Aeon’s mission. Originally from Washington D.C. and now based in Minneapolis, Megan brings a background in both marketing and nonprofit fundraising. Megan earned her Bachelor of Science in Family Science from Towson University. She is driven by a deep curiosity about what drives people to champion causes they believe in. Megan is dedicated to helping further the organization’s impact on the community.

    Outside of work, Megan enjoys playing sports and spending time with family and friends.

    Rachel Hartman

    Rachel Hartman

    Rachel graduated from the University of St. Thomas in May 2024 where she received a major in Marketing Management and minors in Journalism and Theology. She started at Aeon in July 2024 as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. In her role, Rachel develops and designs donor-facing marketing collateral, implements communication through various channels to Aeon supporters, and manages gift processing. Rachel also assists with event coordinating, leveraging opportunities to deepen mission engagement and fundraising in support of the organization.

    Outside of work, Rachel loves visiting new coffee shops, walking around the lakes, and spending time with her friends and family.

    Ellie Klinefelter

    Ellie Klinefelter recently joined our team as the Advancement and Marketing Assistant. In this role, she supports gift processing, data analysis, and various projects that help advance Aeon’s mission. With a background in customer service, Ellie is dedicated to the behind-the-scenes work that makes a meaningful impact. She is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of St. Thomas, with plans to obtain a master’s degree and become a licensed marriage and family therapist. Outside of work, Ellie enjoys running, walking, and spending time outdoors.
